Ebay Bonanza! 08/31/2009

I spent half a day this weekend rounding up "stuff" to sell on ebay. It was sort of liberating once I got going. I decided a few weeks ago that I might be a pack rack, and that's not something that I want to be.

The Rat Pack? Yes!
A pack rat? No!

So, I went about collecting some items that I had laying around, that are working but unused. its just so tough selling stuff, probably for the same reason as throwing it away, I always think "WHAT IF I NEED THAT!". And for any given item, be it mine of someone else's, I can usually think of at least 7 things to do with it. However, I've started realizing more and more that having the *know how* to do something with "junk parts" and having the *time* to do it are two totally different things. So, I must part with some of it, otherwise it'll just keep piling up.

Its been a while since I've sold anything on ebay. OK, it's been a long while, like maybe 5 years. That being said, a LOT has changed since then. I remember the process being tedious and tiresome, but now.... it's pretty smooth. IMHO, it could be a little better but as far as responsiveness and general UI goes, the site is phenomenal, especially considering what it does. I mean millions and millions of people buying, selling, viewing, etc all day long every day. That's pretty impresive.

Now for the mandatory plug: Check out my auctions. There is only a reserve on the 3 Axis CNC package, everything else goes to the highest bidder, no matter what the final price is.....
